SIMONETTE DAVID JACKSON

creates intricate pen-and-ink drawings, which she often transforms into three-dimensional collage pieces. Inspired by the local flora and fauna of her San Fernando Valley neighborhood and portraits of her friends and family, Jackson's work is rich with personal narrative and symbolism. Through recurring visual motifs, she weaves together themes of motherhood, family, nature, and everyday miracles.
